Privacy PolicyYggdrasil API / Drasil MCP Server
Last updated: March 4, 2026
What We Are
Yggdrasil API ("we", "us") operates the Drasil MCP Server and REST API at yggdrasilapi.com. Drasil is a math reasoning protocol delivered to Claude via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:
- License keys — We store and validate DRASIL license keys to authenticate requests. Keys are stored in Cloudflare KV.
- Email addresses — Collected only when you request a trial key or submit a support ticket. Used solely for key issuance and support communication.
- Usage logs — We log anonymized usage events (truncated key prefix, tier, endpoint, timestamp) to monitor service health. Logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
- Support tickets — If you submit a support ticket, we store your email, message, and any replies until the ticket is resolved.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to:
- Your math problems — The protocol is delivered to Claude and executed client-side. We never see the problems you solve or the answers Claude produces.
- Conversation content — We have no access to your Claude conversations. The MCP server only responds to tool calls (drasil_protocol, drasil_status) — it does not receive conversation context.
- Personal information — We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or browsing behavior. Payments are handled entirely by third-party processors.
- Cookies or tracking — Our website does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels.
How the MCP Server Works
When Claude calls the Drasil MCP server:
- The server receives a JSON-RPC request containing only the tool name and your key (embedded in the URL).
- The server validates your key and returns the reasoning protocol text.
- Claude uses the protocol to solve the math problem locally within your conversation.
- The protocol is ephemeral — it is not stored in conversation memory.
The server never receives your math problems, conversation history, or any user-generated content. It is a read-only protocol delivery service.
Data Storage
All data is stored on Cloudflare's global network using Cloudflare Workers KV. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). We do not operate our own servers or databases.
- License keys — stored indefinitely while active
- Usage logs — automatically expire after 90 days
- Trial keys — expire after 6 hours of use
- Support tickets — retained until resolved, then for up to 90 days
Third Parties
We use the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare — Hosting, DNS, CDN, and data storage (Workers, KV, Pages). Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic (Claude) — The MCP protocol is executed within Claude. Your Claude usage is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.
Your Rights
You can:
- Request deletion of your email and associated data by submitting a support ticket
- Request a copy of any data we hold about you
- Stop using the service at any time — no data is retained beyond the expiry periods listed above
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
